Description & booking
This natural and historical site is inaccessible to people with reduced mobility.
Due to the particular configuration of the caves, access is forbidden to children aged 0 to 6, even if accompanied. Children over 6 must be accompanied by at least one adult.
For safety reasons, it is compulsory to wear shoes that fit properly. Flip-flops and high heels are not permitted.
Presence of protected bats or other wildlife. Photos only WITHOUT FLASH are accepted.
No pets allowed.
No smoking on site.
- It is not necessary to print out tickets booked online. Proof of purchase received by e-mail may be requested by cave staff in the event that visitors' names are not found in the electronic reservation system.
- In order to be admitted, visitors must arrive a few minutes before their booked time and wait for their reservations to be checked in the designated area. Visitors arriving late may be admitted at a later time slot or on a later day, subject to availability.
- Once purchased, no ticket can be modified or refunded.
- Visits are not guided, but cave staff will provide information leaflets and may give group explanations depending on the situation.
- A 12-page illustrated souvenir brochure presenting the village and caves in detail can be ordered at the same time as your tickets, or purchased on site by credit card only. It costs €2.
- Cave staff will give safety instructions to each group of visitors.
- Length of visit: approx. 30-50 minutes
- For greater comfort, the number of visitors per time slot is limited to 50.

The Villecroze caves are open to the public from APRIL to OCTOBER.
